Cioppino is traditionally made from the "catch of the day," which in Seattle is typically a combination of Dungeness crab, clams or mussels, shrimp, scallops, squid and any firm-type of fish like Cod or Halibut. For this sauce, we recommend that you use 1 lbs of seafood for this recipe.
